Founded in Hong Kong in 2003, iESF was established with a clear mission: to support international schools across Southeast Asia through practical consultancy, curated resources, and strategic guidance. At a time when global connectivity was just taking hold in schools, iESF aimed to bridge the gap between emerging digital opportunities and the real-world needs of educators and students.

Our online home, shambles.net , became a trusted hub for educators worldwide offering one of the earliest curated directories of tools, links, and ideas designed specifically for international school communities. From Bangkok to Brunei, Hanoi to Hong Kong, our support extended both virtually and in person.

Two decades on, the spirit of iESF remains relevant: empowering educators, encouraging innovation, and fostering global connection in learning. This landing page marks a small but meaningful return — a place to honour our roots and point forward.

The iESF was registered as a company in Hong Kong in 2003 as an independent sole proprietorship.
